Short Description
The University of Sydney has launched the Sydney School of Veterinary Sciences Undergraduate Equity Scholarships for the academic year 2022-2023 with the goal of assisting low socioeconomic students seeking financial assistance to complete their undergraduate education in veterinary medicine.
Students from low-income socioeconomic backgrounds who apply to the University of Sydney to study Bachelor of Veterinary Biology/Doctor of Veterinary Medicine will be eligible for this scholarship grant. The award includes full tuition price coverage for three years as well as a $500 stipend for each semester to fund book purchases, and it is valid for the first three years.
Scholarship Award Benefit
All of the following will be provided by the university:
- Qualified applicants will receive academic course costs (capped at CSP rate) for the first three years of the Bachelor of Veterinary Biology/Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, as well as $500 per semester for book purchases, which is tenable for the first three years.

All applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the Equity Scholarships for International Undergraduate Students at Sydney School of Veterinary Sciences, Australia 2022-23:
- Students must receive an unconditional admission offer and must begin full-time study in the Bachelor of Veterinary Biology/Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program.
- Through the Early Offer Year 12 (E12) Scheme, candidates must be able to demonstrate a low socioeconomic position.

- Applicants can check for entrance on the university’s website. To be considered for the scholarship, students must complete the Early Offer Year 12 program application procedure.
- Needed Papers: The following documents must be presented to the university by the students:
- Transcripts of academic work
- Degree certificates
- CV
- Aspirants must have a secondary education qualification such as the NSW Higher School Certificate (including national and international equivalents) approved higher education study at the University of Sydney or institutions with which the University of Sydney has a Credit Recognition Pathway, or approved preparation courses.
- Language Prerequisite: Students must submit the following English language competency exam results:
- IELTS – 7.0
- TOEFL IBT – 96
- PTE –68
