Short Description
Awards can assist to mitigate the effects of increasing tuition expenses. The Hans-Peter Wild Talent Scholarships are awarded by Heidelberg University to pay educational expenses. The prize program is now accepting applications for the school year 2022/2023.
From their first year, Heidelberg University encourages exceptional and ambitious students from Germany and abroad pursuing a MINT in mathematics, informatics, natural sciences, and technology. The award is worth 1,000 euros per month and is meant to help you finish your degree in the best-case scenario.

Eligibility Criteria
All applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the Hans-Peter Wild Talent Scholarships for International Bachelor and Masters Students at Heidelberg University, Germany 2022-23:
- You are a Bachelors of science degree candidate for a MINT course for the first year, and you have not finished or will not finish a program of study at Heidelberg University before beginning your studies (MINT subject must be studied at least 50 percent of the time)
- You are a Master’s programme candidate interested in a MINT course for the first semester. You have not yet finished or will not conclude a course of study at Heidelberg University before beginning your studies.
Application Method
The following method remains the only viable way to apply rightfully.
- Candidates must use the admission application portal at Heidelberg University to apply for a Bachelor’s or Master’s program. Following that, you may fill out the online application form.
- Papers in Support: Applicants must provide the following documents:
- Table format curriculum vitae
- Motivational letter
- A copy certificate, an authorized interpretation in German or English, and an authorized conversion to the German grading system are required for certificates of university-entrance qualification and international qualifications.
- Supporting documents on MINT-related honors and accolades, independently completed apprenticeships, specialized training in a MINT area, participation in working group conferences, pupils’ academies, or a pupils’ study program if they should be included in the selection method
- Two letters of reference from MINT professionals. Teachers, lecturers, associate professors, research group heads, university employees, and lecturers within the context of a student’s study program or a students’ academy spanning several weeks are examples of these.
- Admission notification
- The very first undergraduate diploma, with the summative assessment, is required for a Master’s degree.
- Entrance Prerequisites: Applicants must have a high school diploma or a bachelor’s degree with honors.
- Language Requirement: Students must demonstrate proficiency in both written and spoken English.
