Short Description
The University of New South Wales is now taking submissions for the PhD Scholarships in Health Data Science: Health and Wellbeing of People with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities for the academic year 2022–2023.
The award is intended to assist candidates who want to pursue a PhD at this institution. Candidates that desire to use data linkage together with additional quantitative and qualitative research techniques will also be taken into consideration.
Scholarship Award Benefit
All of the following will be provided by the university:
- The University of New South Wales is offering individuals who want to pursue a PhD program a compensation of $30,000 a year for three years.

Eligibility Criteria
All applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the International PhD Scholarships in Health Data Science for Students at the University of New South Wales, Australia 2022-23:
- The best candidates will likely have honors, master’s, or similar degrees in computer science, biostatistics, or related fields, as well as a health-related field (public health, medicine, nursing, or allied health).
- Candidates may be Australian citizens, foreign nationals, or residents of other countries. Candidates must be eligible to enroll as full-time domestic PhD scholars and complete the UNSW PhD admission criteria.
Application Method

- Prior to being considered for admission, candidates must submit an online application to the institution. After that, candidates can complete the EOI procedure. - Needed Papers: The university requires the following paperwork from the applicants.
- A one-page EOI detailing your pertinent background, areas of interest in research, and how they relate to our department’s CV
- a transcript of grades.
- Entrance requirements include previous academic training in health databases to analyze mental health treatment, relationships between mental and physical health outcomes, and knowledge in medications.
- Language Prerequisite: If English isn’t your first language, you might need to show proof that your proficiency satisfies their standards.
