Short Description
The Research Fellowships in Germany are offered by the Institute of Air Law, Space Law, and Cyber Law at the University of Cologne. For the academic year 2022-2023, applications for the fellowships are now being accepted.
This grant has been specifically created for overseas students enrolling in the university’s PhD program. Within the scope of a global research project on space traffic management, students will work on issues and duties connected to international air, space, and cyber law.

Eligibility Criteria
All applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the Research Fellowships for International PhD Students at the University of Cologne, Germany 2022-23:
- a comparable degree or a first or second-state exam with a grade above average (ideally 9 points) (e.g., LL.M.)
- European and public international law interests and expertise
- It would be ideal if you have an interest in and understanding of the subjects of international air, space, and cyber law.
- a desire to do a PhD thesis in one of the aforementioned disciplines
