Short Description
On November 1, 2022, the application period for the academic year 2023–2024 will begin. You must be ready to apply for the Holland Scholarship 2023 if you are an international student and are ready for the opportunity of a lifetime. Both undergraduate and graduate students planning to study in the Netherlands may apply for the Holland Scholarship in 2023–2024.
International students from countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who wish to pursue a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the Netherlands are eligible for the Holland Scholarship. The Netherlands Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science, as well as a number of Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences, are funding the award (Netherlands Government Scholarship).
Scholarship Award Benefit
All of the following will be provided by the university:
- The award is for five thousand euros. This will be given to you throughout your first academic year.
- Note that this scholarship does not cover the entire cost of tuition.

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science Holland Scholarships (Non-EEA), Netherlands 2023-24 all applicants must meet the following criteria:
- You are not an EEA national.
- You are submitting an application to one of the participating Dutch higher education institutions for a full-time bachelor’s or master’s degree.
- You are in compliance with the institution of your choice’s specific standards. These are available on the institution’s website.
- You don’t hold a degree from a Dutch educational institution.
