We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Credit Control Officer I

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Department: Credit Control
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: Senior Credit Control Officer II

Brief Description of the Job

  • Oversee the collection of customer accounts in a manner that ensures high customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Communicate in an efficient yet friendly manner with customers.
  • Ensure customers pay on time and follow up any overdue invoices through sending letters, personal visits, phone calls, emails or other medium.


  • Maintain appropriate filing system for Credit Control Department.
  • Keep online real-time file in FTP for approval.
  • Manage the emails correspondence and outstation documents by courier.
  • Prepare on time outgoing clients’ letters and invoices within agreed time.
  • Prepare daily sales invoices.
  • Maintain records of all invoices received.
  • Ensure that all necessary documents are attached to invoices.
  • Dispatch and collect official documents from clients such as: Invoices, Cheques, Quotations, LPO, Award letter, balance payment letters, WHT Letters…
  • Collect WHT Credit Notes, VAT receipts, and cash from clients.
  • Follow up with clients on pending LPOs and payments for some Key Accounts.
  • Maintain security and confidentiality of company and customer information.

Minimum Requirements

  • B.Sc / BA in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1-3 for Officer level and 4-7 years of experience for Sr. Officer Level.
  • Relevant experience in credit and collections is a must.
