IDMANN Institute provides training in professional development and technical entrepreneurship through our College of General Studies and the School of Experiential Learning, respectively. We also provide secondary and pre-secondary tutorial services through IDMANN Academy. All our courses are offered online in live sessions with seasoned instructors. We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Educational Specialist

Location: Umuahia, Abia
Employment Type: Contract

Description

• Demonstrable experience coordinating, overseeing teaching staff, evaluating performance and recommending changes that could strengthen teaching skills.
• Planning, conducting and coordinating teacher training programs and conferences dealing with new classroom procedures, instructional materials, equipment and teaching aids.
• Interpret and enforce provisions of standard and operational education codes, rules and regulations.
• Prior experience or training in vocational, adult or remedial education is advantageous to this role.
• Conduct or participate in workshops, committees, and conferences designed to promote the intellectual, social, and physical welfare of students.
• Advise teaching and administrative staff in curriculum development, use of materials and equipment, and implementation of state and federal programs and procedures.
• Prior experience as an educational specialist, principal, school administrator or related position is required.

Requirements

• Qualification: M.Sc. Education / Bachelor of Education.
• At least 5 years work experience.
