We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Preparation of cost analysis based on architectural drawings, engineering estimates , materials required and labour involved.
• Preparation of cost plans to enable design teams produce practical designs for construction projects
• Preparation of tender and contract documents , including bill of quantities.
• Evaluation of tenders from contractors and subcontractors
• Monitoring and tracking of project progress and the measurement and valuation of variations in the work during contracts
• Commercial vetting of sub-contractor tenders and contracts
• Manage and produce accurate formal reports in accordance wit the business timetable
• Supply all relevant information to the Project Director at the specified interval sets.

Requirements

• Have a Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
• Have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
• You understand the importance of effective communication and influencing skills within teams, vendors, suppliers, stakeholders, and leadership teams.
• You are a passionate about solving problems and taking initiatives to improve the status quo
• You have great attention to detail and an ability to work independently with limited guidance.
